I am trying to move our DHCP server to a new NW5.1 server from another NW5.1
server but have run into a problem. Is v3.12f the latest DHCP server for
NW5.1?

Yes, 3.12f is the latest released version. What specific problem are
you having?

Well, after I successsfully moved several subnets to this new server, it
suddenly wouldn't load anymore and I got the following errors:

...Subnet address: 10.2.223.0, pSubnet->pOptions: BC5344C0, len = 6
Error in NWDSRead: -603, iterHandle = -1
DhcpGetSubnet failed or err = 0
Right before LoadAllRanges
subnet ref in LoadAllRanges:
dhcp_zone_name.DHCP-DNS.OrganizationName <---the object name in NDS
NWDSPutFilter failed. -303
Load processing from NDS and subsequent attempt to populate internal tables
failed.
AgentTerminateSetableParm() called
After all IP and LoggerJob list have been freed.
After all MACHash entries have been freed.
After all IPHash entries and LeaseExpirationList have been freed.
After all hash tables have been freed. End of Unload

About the only thing I've seen that appears to reflect this case calls for
redoing the DHCP server object, which isn't a problem. I just don't want to
go through moving all of these subnets again and the helper addresses in our
switches and routers just to end up with this error again and have to undo
everything. BTW, this new server does have a read/write replica of the
DHCP-DNS.OrganizationName container.

Thanks!
Todd

OK, good. And what about the container where the subnet(s) in question
are located? Or are they all in the above refrenced container?

-603 is a Missing Attribute error in NDS, so it does indicate some
problem with NDS, either reading it, or possible corruption. Sounds
like DSREPAIR could be a good next step.

They are all in the same container. I'll go ahead and run some repairs. I
was hoping for something obvious since I don't want to go through moving
them and suddenly having to move them all back again.

Thanks!

OK, best of luck with it!

FWIW, Nw51SP7 has now been released and contains a newer DHCPSRVR.NLM:

Thanks Marcel! I didn't realize another SP would even be released for 5.1.
