Is it possible to have the netware client automatically log itself out at a preset time or to automatically log out if computer is idle for a certain length of time?

You can use Novell Desktop Management to run a command when an event such as screen saver kicks in. The command you may want to run is LOGOUT.EXE
Keep in mind, if the user has any documents open from the server - these documents won't be properly closed and can cause file corruption.

There was a winexit.scr that came with the NT Resource Kit at one time. It's configured like any screen saver but logs the computer out, giving the user an opportunity to cancel if they're still sitting there.
