Computer got stollen. Replacement computer is causing problems. End user is
getting error, "Login-LGNW9532.DLL The specified server is unknown" when
attempting to logon. NW5Sp6a . Novell Client 32 v332. Only thing different
about this end user is he connects to the network via a hub that is
connected to a switch. The workstation NIC settings are Duplex=Auto,
Speed=Auto. The settings on the switch that the hub connects to are
Duplex=Full, Speed=10MBps. I set these settings at the recommendation of a
Cisco Engineer. User can see the network or so it would appear as the Novell
login window will come up on the screen. He can log onto the Windows NT 4
domain and browse the internet. Just logging into Novell is causing
problems. Nic is embedded. Doubt the patch cord is bad, but I'll swap it
anyways. Needing assistance. Please help.

Just some additional information that has come to light. As probably
mentioned, the Novell Client logon does appear. When it does if click
Advanced, my tree does not appear. This on Auto / Auto. If I change back to
10 / Full I can see the tree, but I still get the same error when attempting
to logon.

For anyone that might care you need to adjust the port settings to the nic.
The computer that was stollen. It had an embedded nic. Trial and error with
a Cisco Engineer brought the solution of setting the port to 10 / full &
auto / auto on the nic. The replacement computer has a nic plugged into a
PCI slot. Settings on nic could stay at auto / auto, settings on port on the
switch had to be auto / auto as well. I fully expect the replacement
computer will need to have the port settings changed back to 10 / full.
