It is necessary that the access point ( any of them) be capable to
direct the protocol IPX/SPX
so that my Novell's clients can access to Novell Server?l ver. 5.0)???

Thx . for the Help

The access points (for the most parts) are bridges. They forward all kind
of traffic IP/IPX - they don't route it.

Without knowing the access point vendor is very hard to tell what your
problem is.

22Mbps ?
That's a strange wireless speed. Troubleshooting with IP would be easier
at this point. Can you ping the NetWare server ? If so, launch the Novell
GUI Login and replace the server name with that IP address you just pinged
under the Advanced section of the login - can you connect now ?

How can i know the Ip of server???
I must comment to u, that i am relative new user of Novell, but the Owner of
company told me that they have a novell 3.12 server, later upgrade to 4.0 and
now 5.0 upgrade, here they have 4 switches 3Com auto-negotation speed 16 ptos
each one, and have 1 Router 3Com for Internet Sharing by DSL service.
Or if the server hasn't IP, how can i install that service?

Sorry for my English =) I'm From Mexico!

THX a lot

Type CONFIG at the server console

> Or if the server hasn't IP, how can i install that service?

If the output from typing CONFIG does not display an IP address, then
post back. I'm sure it has one.

Are you trying to connect to the server from the same physical location
or are you coming from outside (internet) ?

There is no IP in command Config!!!!

I'm connecting form the same physical location.

The IP's that the 3com router has assinged to workstations are
192.168.1.X.

Thx

Do you only have Windows9x ?
Do you have a Windows2000 / XP machine so I can troubleshoot IPX further ?
Troubleshooting IPX on Windows9x can be kind of hard.

Also, to install IP on NetWare5.0, you need to load INETCFG from the
server console and enable TCP/IP support then bind a static IP address
to the NIC. After performing these tasks, either reinitialize system
from within INETCFG or restart the server.

We have 48 Pc's ............just 2 of them have win2000, this is because there
are a personalized system that just work with win9x.

RESOLVED PROBLEM!!!!!

I've installed the IP protocol on Sever and statics IP for the rest of
workstations connected on the wireless AP, by the way, i download the
most recent sotware's client Novell, and everything is OK.

Very, very thanks Edison, you're great!
