I have several users that are having an issue saving .csv files to a
Novell 4.11 directory. They are able to save to the own computer, but
receive an error message that states "cannot access file" when trying to
save to the 4.11 server.

They likely need create rights to the directory as those programs create a
new file and then kill off the old file when saving an updated version.
