Consolidate and Transfer ID

My final phase of migrating NetWare to OES2SP2/SLES10SP3 project
involves consolidating the last 5 servers into 1 server. One being the
master r/w and SLPDA of the tree. The other 4 just hold data/trustee
file rights.
1:My plan is to consolidate 4 of the servers data volumes into the new
server and remove them from the tree.
2:Then Transfer ID of the master r/w and SLPDA to that same same
destination server.
3: Note: Currently already moving data to the new server in 4 different
XML projects.
Anyone have experience with this? Is there any GOTCHAS?

Did you applied the latest OES2SP2 patch released in Jan 2010? It has a bunch of fixes which addresses many of the issues.
You need to check the following:
- OES2SP2 server needs to be installed as a pre-migration server.
- Your server should have a valid certificate
- I suggest avoid non-SSL based migrations. It has broken and already a fix was provided.
- If you are performing ID transfer there are a bunch of prechecks that you need to perform before starting like time sync, eDir replica/partition sync, same VOL and POOL names, etc.
