Hello NG

We work with SBS OES Server and SLED workstations. On the Server we shared
Samba share. Now I want to create a loginscript for the SLED. So that the
shared volume will be attached.

My question it's possible to work with the NDS Login Script an run these on
sleds? SLED does not know drive letters... How and where can I define a
loginscript for sled? Which syntax have I to use?

Thank you in advance for your help

If you have SLED and OES you can use the Novell Client for Linux, which
supports eDir login scripts. Of course these work only on NCP shares
not Samba shares. You can use the same scripts you use on windows and
mapping will work - most of the rest will simply be ignored by the
Linux script processor.

To map Samba shares I see only the possibility to write a script, which
mounts your shares on whichever mountpoint you like, which you add to
the startup programs of your user sessions. If you have non local
home-directories for your users you can even deploy such settings
centrally.
