I have a copy of SLED 11 fully patched and with ncpfs installed. I
installed the Novell Client from the ISO, and everything works fine except
there are no plugins in Nautilus. There are no Novell options in the
right-click menus (Salvage, Novell Properties, etc.), and the Novell
Services button is missing from the toolbar. I have tried this twice with
no luck.
SLED is running as a VMware Workstation guest on SLED 10.2, but I
wouldn't think that would matter. Does anyone have any suggestions?

TIA

Well, first off, I'd recommend uninstalling ncpfs. You don't need that
if you are using the Novell Client for Linux. Second, what version of
NCL are you running? It should be NCL 2.0 SP2. Lastly, do you have the
novell-nautilus-plugin package installed? When I installed NCL via YaST
(after adding the NCL ISO as an installation source), it automatically
installed this plugin for me. As a result I get all the Novell-specific
context menus in Nautilus on SLED11.

I have the correct SLED 11 client version, and set up the ISO as an
installation source as you did.

I loaded the pacakge manager, and the novell-nautilus-plugin pacakage was
in the uninstalled list. I installed the pacakge and rebooted, and all is
well. Don't know why it didn't install automatically, but I apologize for
not checking that first. <hand slapping forehead> DOH!

Thanks for your help, and I'll pull ncpfs. :)
