Running SLED 11 and client 2.0.2_sle11. When I log in, the Novell Tray
app bounces out of the system tray and floats on the desktop. If I log
in under another account on the same system, it stays in the tray where
it belongs. I went through the settings wizard again, and looked at the
contents of my .novell directory, but haven't found anything. Does
anyone have any suggestions?

TIA

Novell is aware of this and is currently working on a patch for NCL to
fix the issue.

Thanks for the prompt reply. At least it's not just me. ;-)

None that I'm aware of.

It appears to be a timing issue, so the following worked for me :-

Go into the Startup Programs (in Control-Center - Sessions), find the
'Novell Tray' item and change the command from

ncl_tray
to
bash -c "sleep 30; ncl_tray"

You might want to play around with the 30 second delay to see how low
you can get it - but I've never bothered.

Good Luck,
Phil.
