Hello all

I've tried just about everything to get my LUM user to login on the "text"
consoles to be able to create a home dir but without success. The various
error msg on the /var/opt/messages are:
FAILED LOGIN 1 FROM /dev/tty2 for UNKNOWN, User not known to the underlying
authentication module
PAM [dlerror: /lib/security/pam_mkhomedir.so: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory]
PAM adding faulty module: /lib/security/pam_nam.so.0

I've had this working on another machine, but changed now to a AMD 64bit
machine and after installing NNLS encounted this problem.

Any help will be appreciated for this newbie.

Did you use a 64 bit install of SLES? I'm not sure that it works.

Yes, I used a 64 bit version os SLES for the AMD. Installed again with 32
bit and it works. Pitty dough, I would have love to use my AMD 64 bit.

We're waiting for lots of stuff to catch up with 64 bit at the moment...
