Upgrading NNLS with OES

Hello,
There is no NetMail version included with Novell OES. I am interested if
there is a possibility to upgrade NNLS with OES leaving NetMail
functioning. Possibly anyone tried doing that? Any hints will be of a
great value to me.

If you're not already running NetMail 3.5.2, you should install NetMail 3.5.2 (get the
.iso from http://download.novell.com) before installing OES (it's probably safer to update
NetMail before OES, since NetMail 3.5.2 was released well before OES).

Before doing so make sure you have a copy of your existing NetMail licence from NNLS
(/opt/novell/netmail/bin/netmail.nlf), which will still work with NetMail 3.5.2, and of
course a backup of the mail data (and the rest of the server before upgrading to OES),
just in case.

After that I don't expect a problem with NetMail and OES (I haven't installed OES over
NNLS - yet. I'll find out when I get the time in the next few weeks).
