Has anybody installed NNLS on a SLES9, but with LVM?

I made the following configuration to the hard disk
SIZE FileSystemType MountPoint
2GB SWAP
50M ext2 /boot
Created a LVM Partition
40GB LVM /LV-HOME for /home
90GB LVM /LV_ROOT for /

The server is working fine, but when I started the installaction process,
there was an error indicating "The LVM-GROUP freespace could not be determined"

Does anybody knows if there is a specific restriction between LVM file
system and NNLS?

NNLS can only be installed on ext2, ext3, reiserfs, xfs file systems??

NNLS shouldn't care about the filesystems at all - it shouldn't even
know it's on LVM. How did you set up LVM?

Right, That's what I thought !!!!!. In order to setup the LVM I used
DDruid, utility used during the SLES9 installation. In fact I have been
installing NNLS on SLES8 and worked fine, I did the same with another
server SLES9 and there was nothing wrong.

The only difference with the other server is the RAID used on it. I am
presumming that this is the main problem. Do you know anything to be
considered between a RAID disk configuration and LVM?

Thanks,

HHDL

No, there shouldn't be any specific for LVM on RAID. I wouldn't use
DDruid though. The partitioner in the installer should do everything you
need... Have you tried using it for the LVM config?

this is releated with SuSE9, I have LVM and RAID disk inside LVM volume
kind of HD config in SuSE8, NNLS did not complaint, however, the same
config under SuSE9, NNLS will complaint on it.
