Hey all.

I'm new to the IDM customization scene, and have a question.... Should
be pretty easy....

Without going into the whole story, I'm trying to figure out the
syntax to remove the first 5 and last 2 characters from an attribute
value. The SAS:Login Configuration attribute is being synchronized
across one of my LDAP drivers. I need to take that attribute value and
strip off the first 5 characters and the last couple of characters to
use for another purpose. What the SAS:Login Configuration attribute
value might look like.. "{SHA}IGyAQTualsExLMNGt9JRe4RGPt0="

Any suggestions for syntax to parse the value?

Thanks!

Mikebristow,

You posted to a dead newsgroup which is no longer part of the official
Novell support hierarchy. I suggest you visit
http://support.novell.com/forums and post to one of the official
Novell newsgroups.
