Hi

I can't get any of my two ,supported by kernel, scsi card to work at all in
SLED10. I have tried with a LSI LOGIC symbios sym8651U and a adaptec
aha-2940UW.

The cards is not recognised on boot and produces a very long timeout. When
the system finaly boots , after 5 min, it is inscredible slow , and X does
not work.

The busses are terminated, and there is nothing about it in dmesg or
messages. It works just fine in Ubuntu,Windows and NetBSD.

I can't post the exact dmesg log , I have no www or news access when
booting with a scsi card. But I can tell you that the dmesg log is
identical to the one that is now. The scsi cards puts nothing in the logs.

Hmm, very odd. Does it see the card in /proc/scsi/???

Sounds like some kind of interrupt issue to me. Anything odd set up in
the bios?

No.

When I have time for it I can provide full logs of it.
