ATI Raedon 9000/9100 IGP on Toshiba Notebook

Running SELD 10.1

I have been following the suggestions that a proprietary ATI driver can
help to resolve some of the issues, but the ATI site gives me two options
neither of which seems correct for SLED. (see
om/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&folderID=27)

Google earth runs poorly and trying the cube thing leaves me without
borders on my Windows..

Any suggestions on a way forward?

install all of the files here:

that fixes the cube borders - not sure if it will fix google earth
