AC 97 Sound Gateway Laptop MX7118

unable to get sound to work on new laptop. I am using Suse-Linux 10 from
novell. am new to linux, trying to migrate from winxp. help

AMD processors have always worked great with SUSE LinuX, but INTEL garbage
will always stag on
operations with failed interupt errors, common....Gateay a waste of
time...though a 386 will work, it
will only be good for a LinuX fire wall, period!!!

P.S....Developed on the original Commodore Amiga 1992, authorized hardware

To be honest with you,with Suse 10.1, the laptop performs flawlessly. The
use of ndis or bcm-fwcutter will take care of issues with wlan and the
rest just works great.

As for sound Im not having an issue. So Im not really sure what the B.S.
is below.
