Did anyone succesfully install networking NLD10 on Dell Precision 390.

During installation NIC and driver are not installed

Any suggestions.

Can you run lspci pls to show us what the NIC is being reported as.

lspci shows Broadcom Corporation Unknown device 167a (rev 02)

Ahh, then the chip is not know to any driver. If you find the numerical
ID using lspci -n and google for it you might find which driver it should
be.

Oh, yeah. This forum is really for the old NLD product. We should move
this to the SLED hardware forum...

hi

can anyone give me a link which specifies the maximum RAM supported by each
version of SUSE operating Systems .
if this not the correct place to post a thread, then specify where i need
to post this thread .

All 32bit versions can directly address up to 4gb - 2^32=4gb
All 64bit versions can directly address at least 64gb.

For SLES 9 : http://www.novell.com/products/server9/kernel_limits.html

I would expect that the same limits apply for the other versions on the
same corresponding hardware
