We have started introducing xp onto our NW6.5 network. We still use Queue
based printing until all the servers are updated. on several of the new
xp boxes, the system will print but it will only get to the local print
queue in the system tray but never go one to the netware queue. It has
happened with HP 4100's and HP8150's. We are using NWCLient 4.91sp3. in
Task Manager, the only thing going on is that spoolsv.exe is at 100%, but
I don't know if that is the problem or just an effect of the problem. I
am using one of the XP machines, and it has never happened to me. I would
like to think I am just a better user, but that is probably not it...:-)
None of our 250+ Win2000 machines have a problem with it. Any ideas would
be greatly appreciated.

More often than not, check at the SPs/hotfixes that have been applied to a
'working' vs. a 'bad' XP box ...

Try disabling bidirectional support from the printer drivers.. most HP
drivers have 'enable bidirectional support' on the Ports page.
