The customer environment has a SBS 6.5 SP4 server and among others, a
Xerox 4150 multi-function printer/copier/scanner. The Xerox has
Netware support.

When I look in the Novell Remote Manager on the Health Monitor, I have
about 14-20 failed logins per hour. They are all from the Xerox 4150
(which is successfully printing jobs). Each entry reads:

Time: Thursday, 10-08-09 12:02pm
Address IPX 0002.FFFFFFFFFFF
User: .CN=XRX_4150_SVR.O=HQ.T=SL_TREE

The printer is using 802.2 and the server has IPX bound to 802.2
as network 2.

I'm sure the IPX address of the printer isn't FFFFFFFFF. Is that why
I keep getting these errors? If so, I'm wondering how to fix it.

As a client, the printer doesn't have an IPX address per se as that is
specified by the server. And the F's in an IPX network address indicates a
MAC address, which is a broadcast address ... seems like something within
the printer isn't completely configured .. perhaps check the docs.
