Hi all: We are beginning our transition from 6.5 sp8 to OES
2 (linux). We currently run two DNS servers on two NetWare
boxes. These DNS servers also handle all DNS work for our
Windows Domains (rather than running DNS separately on the
Windows servers). This arrangement has worked well for us.

But I am wondering if the DNS implementation in OES will be
as transparent and easy to administer? Or should I move my
DNS over to our Windows servers? Does the OES version of
DNS read/store dns in edirectory?

Thanks, Chris.

Excellent info.. Another issue I don't have to worry
about.
