I've seen this with SP5, but not with SP6 - either update to SP7 or SP8,
or as shot in the dark, try back revving wspssl.nlm to the SP4 rev.

From memory it was a bug in the wspssl that induced a memory leak in
wspipx - it was normally seen on servers doing HTTPS and/or SFTP.

You'd be better off going forward to SP7 or SP8 - SP6 had a lot of
problems, but if you stick with it, it's just the wspssl.nlm that needs
to be rolled back.

I'd still strongly recommend that you go to SP7/SP8 - but if you want to
stay with SP5/SP6 - try applying wsocki.exe from
ftp://ftp.novell.hu/pub/mirrors/ftp.novell.com/netwire/ftf/
