I don't think a vrepair would do anything as it doesn't sound like
there's disk corruption on the server. If all the clients receive the
error, then either you've got a bad/flaky NIC in the server or a bad hub/
switch. Easiest test would be to plug the server into a different port
in the hub/switch or even try swapping it. If that doesn't resolve the
problem you'll have to look at replacing the server's NIC.
