How do you handle Imaging and Changing the SID

I wonder how folks that image machine handle dealing with the issues
changing the SID cause for the Novell Client (NICI issues)

I seem to have found a process that will let me 'fix the problem' after
the SID changes but I wonder how that might 'kludge' things up

vs

creating an image without the client installed so I can apply the
image, change the SID and then install the client, therby never creating
the problem in the 1st place.

curious how folks are dealing with this...

In the SysInternals Tools is a SID changer called newsid.exe. You can find
it on www.sysinternals.com (now a link to technet.microsoft.com).

Yeah, I am aware of how to change the SID. The imaging software we use
apply's the image and then does a SID change upon reboot.
Changing the SID causes login problem (related to NICI) so I was
wondering how folks deal with it.
Option 1) create image with no client installed. Eliminating the
problem (but adding time to each image as the client needs
installed/configured for each computer.
Option 2) fix the issue after the image is applied and SID changed.
Seems a bit convoluted (and I wonder if there are other pitfalls I am
unaware of)

Or does NewSID somehow handle this problem for us?
