I'm also looking at SEP sesam as backup program.
But as you I also have some nw65 servers in our enviroment.

Yes. I have installed SEP Sesam for one of our clients. The software is
good and support is excellent.

Yes, there were some quirks getting that to work. I cannot remember exactly
and do not have access to my notes. Let me check at work tomorrow.
