I've seen a coolsolution that says "this is simple, just dont use SSL" but I
dont even know how to enable/disable ssl. I simply load the daemon on a
netware server using
"rsync --daemon --config=sys:etc\rsyncd.conf --progress" , I downloaded
rsync onto my suse box via Yast and I want to send a directory to the
netware server.
linux:~ # rsync -va /srv/www / 172.16.4.28::weblinux
building file list ... rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4092 bytes:
phase "send_file_entry": Broken pipe
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(515)

The support and download area for the Netware port of Rsync at
http://forge.novell.com/modules/xfmod/project/?rsync.

My Netware servers have no problems rsyncing to and from SUSE and Windows
servers. What versions of rsync are you using? Does the sync start to run
and then die on a specific filename?

On the Netware server try setting "TCP Delayed Acknowledgement" and "TCP
Sack Option" to OFF

If your Netware server has multiple processors or has hyperthreading enabled
(use "cpucheck" at the console) add the --no-mp to the rsync deamon
parameters (newer versions of rsync.nlm only).
