Garbage characters on the screen….

My server screen has all sorts of garbage on it. For example, all the blank
areas have been replaced the "!" (Exclamation points). Words have all their
letters substituted so nothing is legible.

These symptoms show up on the console screen and also if I go in using
Rconsole.

I'm running Netware 5.1. The server is a couple of updates behind. (I can't
see which updates are installed as I can't read the screen.)

I have no idea what this is related to.

Anyone have an idea where to start on resolving this?

if you go directly to the server... do you see a problem? (IOW - is the problem
only when you use RCONSOLE?)

Sounds like the video board has gone bad, or come lose
