That article should help you with all of that. The UserApp doesn't know
anything about the password policy really, when it comes to enforcement.
It may display the rules and if that does not work properly with the
customized XML-based policy then that's something to be changed in the
UserApp but enforcement is all done within NMAS in the Universal Password
(UP) code. Hopefully that answers your question.
