NT4 GX270 Boot problems after imaging

Machines are arriving from DELL with windows XP installed, som of these
workstations need to have Windows NT4 installed, when a NT4 imaged is
restored to one of these machines it fails to boot, the machine runs
through the bios then just before loading the NT Kernel it is left with a
flashing cursor in the top left of the screen.....
