Hello,

ZFD 4.0.1 (zfd4sp1bservu3.exe) installed on a NW 6.5 two node cluster.

If i activate on a workstation object the switch to receive an image over PXE, the workstation receives an image correctly. But the Image.nlm does not clear this switch in the workstation object, so after a reboot the workstation receives the image again.

Is it a bug of Image.nlm or zfd4sp1bservu3.exe? Or is a NetWare cluster problem?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Andreas,

there were some imaging files missing from the u3 patch - you light
want to try the P2 patch, then add u3

Hello,

I installed already the P2 patch before u3.

I checked again both patches and all files are definitely properly installed on my cluster.

Any further idea?

Does it work on other ZFD 4.0.1 p2 + u3 installations?

Which services removes normally this switch from the NDS- workstation object (i would guess imserv.nlm)?

Andreas

Andreas,

IMG should clear this as soon as the image starts to come down...
what do you see in the log? sys:zenworks\zimgdbg.log

That log file does not exist in that drive is there some reason for this or
could it be on another drive?

Thanks Mark

in that case your load of the image server's been changed from the
default - it should read "IMGSERV -DEBUG"

After unload of Imgserv, DSRepair and reload it works now.

Thanks a lot.
