We are currently running Netware 6.5 SP 5 on one box and GW 7 on a
Netware 6 SP 5 on another box. We've been migrating all users to the new
6.5 server. Today was our last cut and GroupWise decides it doesn't want
to print to any IPrint printers in one location. All other locations are
fine. Only 1 server controls all printing about 60 printers total. NDPS
works yet but not the IPrint printer, ie if I delete all IPrint printers
from a Win 2000 workstation GW prints. I'm at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Do you have the Microsoft hotfix KB893225 installed on the boxes (I assume
you are using XP/SP2)? If not this may be part of the problem. You will
need to call M$ to get the hotfix.

Actually we're still running Windows 2000 on the desktops. We have 7
different containers, 6 of them have no problems. I have an IPrint policy
in each container that is exactly like the others.

Thanks

You may have problems with long printer names. Are your printer names
and/or port names over 31 characters long? If so, use the shortname
option in the iprint.ini and shorten up the Printer Agent (PA) names as
well.
