Linux 9 cant connect to Bordermanager

After trying to get linux 9 to browse the net, it fails.
I get an error message that says connection lost...sometimes I get the
borgermanager login screen, but clicking submit doesnt work as connection
is lost. Other times I dont get the screen. This has occured on
previous versions on Linux.
We have latest BM.
Ive played with the browser configs and TLS settings and still no dice.
Its at a point where we cant use LINUZ in novell environment.
We have NW6 environment and edir 8.7
