I have a user who logs into Netware like any other user but then has to
launch a RSA SecurID software package that connects them to a VPN to run
an application wich also works fine. The problem is when this user tries
to access the Internet using authentication through our Bordermanager
server using client trust it just spins its wheels. If I close the VPN
client, it works fine, or if I turn off client trust and give them a
packet filter out through the firewall it works fine. Now I think the VPN
policy binds to the network adapter and I know that Client Trust binds to
the network adapter, so I guess my question is...is this problem what I
think it is...Sort of like in a Terminal Server session..only one session
can have Client trust bound at any given time and that there are
conflicting "policies" trying to bind to the NIC. Also and is there a way
around this? One other thing...The VPN client software has nothing to do
with Netware or Bordermanager. Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks
Shawn

Does the CLNTRUST icon show any kind of statistics when the user is
trying to browse?

CLNTRUST is not seeing the authentication requests coming from the
proxy. You may have some sort of firewalling function going on, or
perhaps if you are tunneling through the firewall, you cannot accept
traffic from it during the VPN connection.
