Netscreen authentication

Hi,

I must setup a authentication method for a Netscreen appliance. I can use
Radius or LDAP. We have 3 NW 5.1 NDS 8.7.1 so we have LDAP, also we have a
BM 3.6 server (radius?). What should be the best way to authenticate users
agains Novell... ?

Can someone point me out where to start, and what services i need if i
should use Radius.

I think i can anwser myself. The best thing to go for will be Radius. I have
setup a test environment and got it to work quite easely.

Only problem now, in our production environment i can not see a option to
create a DAS object. All snapins are in place. I have one search drive to
the PULIC, and over this drive i installed the snapins and i start my
NWADMN. Anyone know what could be the problem ?

Do you have a RADSNAP.DLL in public\win32\snapins?

Does netscreen support PAP/CHAP authentication via Radius? If it only
supports EAP then you cannot go against the Novell Radius server becasue it
only supports the old PAP/CHAP protocols

Yes the netscreen Supports CHAP.
