Does it happen for other applications logging in? ConsoleOne? LDAP?
Novell Client? Does it matter if you hit other iManager instances? Are
you patched? -649 is from eDir so if you get failures at all outside
iManager this is probably best-asked in the eDir forum. If it only
happens with iManager and you're patched, that's interesting and tracing
of eDir may help see what is going on.
