I have also had various client connection issues. The only way to resolve
them is to get rid of everything as you have found. I asked why this was at
the last Brain Share with the ifolder group. They all just looked at me with
a deer in the headlights look. I truly believe that they all use Linux
desktops. And as such they never run into the day to day issues we Windows
users run into. You can't even uninstall the client completely. You have to
manually clean it up. And how many of you have seen or had .NET 2.0 issues!
Hello 3.5 has been out for awhile. Not sure that would help any though. How
hard can it be to create an uninstaller that cleans up the open files after
a reboot? Or kills the process of the open files so they can be removed.
Sorry for the rant. It gets real frustrating after a while.
