I apologize for cross posting this message,
but I didn't see this area of the forum before posting
in GroupWise area.
I have a question about PDA's, PDAConnect and GroupWise.
The problem is as followed:
I have a PC where appointments will be planned in the agenda
AND I have a PDA where appointments will be planned by myself.
When I connect the PDA via GroupWise PDAConnect, everything goes
fine when I choose the "2 way" synchronization option. Appointments
made on the PDA will be synchronized to the GroupWise system and all
appointments made in the GroupWise system are present in the PDA.
So far so good.
Now it comes:
When I delete an appointment in the PDA and connect to PDAConnect,
the appointment will be redistributed from the GroupWise system to the
PDA and it will appear in it's agenda.
I cannot use One Way synchronization because appoitments are planned
both in the GroupWise system and the PDA.
I tried the same issue in Microsoft Outlook and there is no problem.
It look likes Outlook registrers the last change in an appointment
when changing something. Outlook works OK in this case, it "sees"
that the appointment is deleted as last action and it will also be
deleted
on the other side.
I cannot find anything on this on the internet so I will try this way.
Does anyone have a solution or does anyone recognize the problem ?
Thank you
Kind Regards,
Patrick Haasen
