Employer upgraded to Groupwise 7, rendering previous sync software
(syncwise pro 6) non-functional.

Trying to use PDA Connect, but problems. Initially failed at copying
calendar PDA -> Groupwise, attempted re-install and now cannot sync at all.

Note that you report as a "known issue" that PDA connect will not to work
with HotSync 6.0.1, which is the version I have. Cannot locate older
HotSync that will work with my PDA.

When will PDA connect which works with HotSync 6.0.1 be available?

Any other suggestions to get sync to my Tunsten E2?

Need to know if I should wait or order software that works now.

Thanks, Carl

Novell allways come out with great products. But, PDA Connect has been
lauched out of date, just because it's imcompatible with HotSync 6.0.1.

I'm looking forward to having my Treo 650 and Groupwise syncronized! There
is no previous version of Hotsync available.

Take care of this issue guys at Novell.

Thanks a lot, George.

Also having an issue with Treo running Palm 6.0.1 (PDA Connect and
Groupwise client both 7.01) Can not sync calendar. This has been going on
for months. Thought it was a config here! Please fix this.

I'm having this exact problem too. I have Groupwise 7.0.2 and HotSync
6.0.1. Anyone know how to sync them? I couldn't find a patch or help
on Novell's site.

Looks like Toffa SyncWisePro 7 actually supports Hotsync v6. Take a look
at their FAQ.

PDA Connect is no longer being developed. I wouldn't expect newer
versions of Hotsync to work with it.

GMS perhaps?

Possibly Nexic Synchronis. You'll need to contact them to find out if
their software works with the new version of Hotsync.

PDAConnect is dead. Period. No newer software will be released. The
newest release was in GW 7.0.1. It is totally and completely
unsupported. Bugs reported to Novell will be closed as WONTFIX.

If PDAConnect starts hunting down your family - you are on your own.
If it fails to work - you are on your own.

> When will PDA connect which works with HotSync 6.0.1 be available?

Never. Unless a GW enthusiast is working with the HotSync fellows and
changes it to work with PDAConnect. That seems....unlikely.
