Thanks for taking a look at this question. Do you know the differnce
between GW 5.5.5 (GW 5.5 SP5) and GW 5.5 Enhancement Pack? Question is,
can I use Webacess from Enhanced with GW 5.5.5? It's much better. Thanks
in andvance.

I'm speaking of using the 5.5EP Post-SP5 WebAccess Update.

If the WebAccess is on a different server you can install it. But if you
have any other agents on that server, all of them have to be the same
version.

Heehee - yeah well, I can only suppose there is a "good" reason - makes me
all nostalgic <g>.

Cant say I have ever seen WPoffice, 5.5 is the oldest version I have ever worked with. This company has 5.5EP, & no signs of ever upgrading to a newer version (new mothercompany is exchange, will probably end up there). The notforprofit I worked probono for had gw65, but they recently paid a local company a hefty chunk of change to move to pure MS.

I am just glad the 5.5ep client works in winXP.

I started with WPOffice 2.0 - I remember after GW came into existence a
customer called me to add a new user to a WPOffice system. I had to sit and
look at the DOS prompt for about 10 minutes before I remembered what to do -
it was all command-line install.
