If I back up my netware 6.5 gw 7.03 boxes using windows. I can restore those post offices directly to my backup servers large disks, and then If I want to view those restored post offices I can install a Domain/Post office agent locally on those backup servers?

Installing domain and po agents on a windows server wont mess with my real groupwise system at all.  Especially if this windows server does not have C1 installed on it.

This will make it possible to verify my backup and restores, and will also act as a poor mans restore area PO, correct?

Im pretty sure this works perfectly well I just want to double check.

windows is not a backup program. I assume you mean copy stuff to a
windows box? Hopefully using dbcopy or the POA/MTAs are down.

Yes

Actually it may, unless you provide enough startup switches to overwhelm
all the built in ip references.
