Not sure really what forum is best for this, but I'm wondering if
someone with an iPhone can test this for me.

Download e-mail to iPhone. Move e-mail from the inbox to a folder. The
item disappears from the iPhone, however it has been properly moved and
shows up in the folder in Groupwise.

We're on the current patch level of GW 7.

FYI - oddly this seems to be limited to GW7. I cannot duplicate this (and
indeed have never had this problem in over 17 months) with GW8 and the
iPhone (both 3G and 3GS).

I have a GW703 server and an iPhone using IMAP to connect.
Although I was up to now unaware of this problem I can confirm that I've now been able to duplicate it.
The next stage would now seem to be to follow Bob's suggestion to "get a packet trace of an iPhone blundering its way through the process !"

Although that would likely only appease your own curiosity. I'm afraid it
doesn't look like a fix for this will make it to 7.04, and that will be the last
GW 7 patch. Since this doesn't happen in GW8, the solution would be to upgrade.
