User accidentally pressed the Run button in the Rules environment

Can someone explain to me when a user created a holiday rule and press
the Run button, it sending it's entire inbox as holiday reply.
Is there any way to stop this process? If a user has a lot of mail in
the inbox, all the recipients will receive the holiday rule.
The only why to stop this is to close GW and download the mail to the
new Caching.
has any one has the same issue, or has anyone has a better solution
for this
