Accessing mail will be fine, but items for anybody else will not get
indexed until you restart the POA with your normal settings

Cheers Dave

When you said you reindexed the account, was that with the checkbox within
GWCheck ?, if so then that operation only refreshes the internal database
indexes within the account structure, it does nothing for the content
indexes.

To reindex just the troublesome account, look through TID 3105742

As for the box violators count, that just flags any account where the
number of messages is greater than the selected limit, 500 by default.
It's really no big deal nowadays, not something to get too concerned about.

If you can get to the web console,*and* you have to login to it, then the
Quickfinder Indexing on the configuration option should appear as a link,
Click on that, and you get to the indexer settings page

The login credentials should be set in the poa startup file, httpuser and
httppassword

Q1 - Yes but you use the server console OR the web console, NOT both

So just use the web console if it is available, I'm not sure it was on
Gw7. If it isn't available then you will have to use the steps in the TID.
As a side note, with GW8 on Netware, make sure you have the /nodca switch
in the POA startup file.

Q2 - You will see the message qfindex complete, or the qfinder status go
to idle in the web monitor status tab

Q3 - No

Q4 - The *results* would be identical, the process is different. If the
web console option is available on GW7, then use that. Otherwise, follow
the instructions in the TID.

If you just want to test the routine, then I'd reset your test server,
then make sure that only the MTA and one POA are loaded for the test. That
will simplify things,
