Start with running the latest patch... 7.0.2 is 2 years old and the
7.0.3 HP release was made public in June this year...

Will the patch work with our existing GroupWise Clients and other POAs
and MTAs on the same network managed by different Network
Administrators?

The reason I ask is because I am in charge of 1/8th of a large
companies network and cannot control what the other areas run.

Thanks

Justin

As long as the major version is the same, no problems. Now if you tried a
new client on an old PO it would fail...

7.02HP being the exception, of course. That client will not connect to a
7.02 or earlier post office

Probably best asked in a new thread over in the GW8 forums to give
yourself the best chance of an answer. Giving a few more details as well,
Windows server version for example.
