ls,

I need to recover a deleted user, I set up the restore area which all still
existing users can connect to. Problem is that there is no wpdomain.db in
the restore area. Since the user-account is also deleted from eDir, how can
I achieve this?

No backups of the wpdomain.db from a time when that user did exist in
there ?

Cheers Dave

Dave,

No, no wpdomain.db
But I do know the account's FID though.
Also read an article, an excert from a book written by Tay Kratzer. This
describe how I could do this by using the 'Import/Export utility'. I
installed it but I can't get it to work. When, in C1, I select Tools -? GW
utilities I should have 'Import'and 'Export' on the menu. I don't have them.

If those two options are not there at all, then you haven't installed the
GWport32 files in the correct place. If the options are there, but are
greyed out, then try highlighting an eDir OU, that should make the options
active.

The accompanying readme said the I should install in the ConsoleOne
directory.

Try putting the files down a level in the .\bin directory
