GWIA sends out to the Internet without problems
GWIA does not accept emails from the Barracuda anti-spam unit.
Putting logging into Diagnose mode I can see GWIA accepting a
connection from the Barracuda, it increases the message number but
does not pick up anything, not even to the point of queuing to the
MTA. The Barracuda is on the internal network, so on the same network
as the GWIA.
It gets stranger. The photocopiers can successfully send scans to the
GWIA and I am starting to suspect that this is because the email
addresses of the photocopiers have the same domain name (ie. they are
not the sort of external addresses that would come through the
Barracuda).
There is nothing wrong with the Barracuda as we can get it to deliver
to another SMTP program which we can then interface with the old
GroupWise API gateway (GWAPI) as a temporary workaround.
Any ideas ?

For anyone experiencing the problem the configuration had been
slightly corrupted as a result of a hard disk going bad and GWIA no
longer had a link to the POA. Simply had to re-specify the IP address
of the POA which you can do in ConsoleOne or through the
/ipa-ipaddress switch in the GWIA.CFG file.
