Using GroupWise 6.5, I'd like to set up the client to automatically
include a specified BCC address in every email sent out. Where can I
configure this?

Thanks,
Bryen

If you want an unsupported method you go to cool solutions site and get the
view designer.

You can also create a new message with the addressee information (doesn't
keep message info though). Then File-->Save View. I would create a folder
for the view .... just separates it from the rest of your files. You'll
give the view a name (the .vew will automatically be assigned). And then
you get to give it a good name... something that makes sense to you.

Secondly, you need to tell GroupWise where you've stored your views.
Tools-->Options-->Environment-->File Location. The views field is probably
blank. If it's not, then your view should have been saved to this location.
If it's grayed out, then the administrator has locked the field.

Now when you click on the little black down arrow on the "Mail" button,
you'll see your new view there to choose from.

BTW, if for whatever reason, your view file is not in the location specified
in File Location, you can always open the view manually: File-->Open View.

That is a great method for setting up an auto CC or auto BCC. Thanks so
much for the tip!

No problem.

BTW, you can add text to the message area as well (with caveats). In
version 6.0, the text in the message box will not stay unless it's set to
Plain Text. Setting to to HTML and then saving the view does not save the
text with the view (well, at least it doesn't appear on the screen).

But if you're version 6.5, even if HTML is turned on the text will indeed
be saved with the view. But the results always plain text.

I have noticed that when I try to attach items to a message that is created
with my Auto CC view, the attachments are attached but they are not visible
as being attached documents. Any way to get them to show up?
Thanks.

Same happening here. So it appears that's a limitation of a saved view.
Makes sense I guess when you think about where attachments are actually
stored.

Hi Lori,

Does GroupWise 2014 support auto forward, auto cc, and auto bcc on the server side without any changes made on the client?
