We are running GroupWise 6.0.3 on Netware 6.0.3. I have been noticing the
following errors in the \PO\wpcsout\ofs\XXXXPOA.001 file:

The database facility reported error [C05D] on userr1y.db

and

The database facility reported error [820E] on userr1y.db
Queueing message for retry because of: [820E]

Occasionally I get an a [C05D] error on a msgXX.db file, but they seem to
coincide with an error on the above user database.

I have run GWCheck on this users database and everything comes back fine. I
do notice that in the same log file I DO NOT see any instances of this user
logging in.

The user does not seem to notice any problems while using GroupWise. I have
uninstalled the GroupWise and Netware clients and then reinstalled each.
The users PC is WinNT 4.0 Workstation SP6 running Netware Client Version
4.83 SP2.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
John

Thanks for the input. Thats kind of what I was leaning toward. But it is
looking like the PC itself is causing the issue. I've had the user login at
a different workstation and we do not see any errors. After a couple of
days we try the original PC and the errors start up again. I will be
reloading the PC shortly, or hopefully replacing it completely since it is
rather dated.

Thanks for the input

820e is indeed always locking contention
c05d is a structural issue, and a structural rebuild (archive most stuff
first) might be warranted
