If you look at your LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable do you see
libccs2.so in any of the driectories listed? Which Solaris version?
Did this work before? Does it work when you run 'sudo -i' and then do
everything or just run as 'root'? I would guess that your environment
isn't updated because of how you are using sudo.
Good luck.

What happened when you ran sudo the other way?
Good luck.

What do you get for an 'ldd /opt/novell/eDirectory/bin'? What is you
LD_PRELOAD the library before running the command?
If you login as root, does it work fine, BTW?
Cheers, Akos
Check out where you have a libccs2.so - might be two places and one of
them is the incorrect version. Try to do an
export LD_PRELOAD=/opt/novell/lib/libccs2.so
...and run like this the ndsconfig - see if this works. I think
LD_PRELOAD should be there on Solaris as well.
Cheers, Akos

You've replied to a thread old enough to have scrolled off of my news
spool here. It would be better to start a new thread, and include the
details of what you're doing (or trying to do) and what error message
you're getting when you try to do it. Since this is the *nix support
newsgroup, telling us which particular *nix flavour you're using would
also be good.
