ConsoleOne hasn't been supported for years. The last set of ConsoleOne
snapins came from the DirXML 1.1a installer, IIRC, and that was ... 10
years ago? Looks like they're still available. If you go to http://
support.novell.com, click on the downloads page, and change the product
to "dirxml", you can get them from there.
Also IIRC, the Profiles tab in ConsoleOne comes from this set of snapins.

I added the dirxlm snapins from the file dirxml_1_1_snapins.exe And NOW
life begins to be Happy again!

But it's named Employee ID on the snapin screen, so does where it is
actually stored matter provided that you know what the field is called ?

The attribute is WorkforceID.
