What you want is called "merge partition". I'd recommend reading up more
on partitions here:
http://www.novell.com/documentation/edir873/edir873/data/a2iiiik.html
before going ahead with the idea, so that you can be properly prepared
for any possible impact. Also make sure DS is healthy before performing
any partition operations.
